Will you hold the rope?

“Now after many days were past, the Jews plotted to kill him. Then the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a large basket” (Acts 9 v 23, 25).

In the book of Acts, we read how Paul’s life hung by a thread—lowered in a basket through a window to escape death. But, that lifeline was held firm by the faithful hands of unnamed believers. These were the ROPE HOLDERS—ordinary disciples entrusted with an extraordinary task. Had they let go, the ministry of Paul could have ended that night.

In the same way, In His Name is being lowered into the harvest fields of nations across the world—one city, one town, one village at a time—and we, too, need ROPE HOLDERS: Faithful partners who will commit to monthly giving, becoming the constant, unwavering strength that keeps the basket steady. These Rope Holders are our champions. Our efforts are their impact.
