“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” – John 15 v 7

A beautiful verse that busts with promise and stirs expectation! There is a fundamental link herein between the statements “My words abide in you” and “ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” Jesus is not speaking of the believer who rattles off prayers of selfish ambition or misguided aspirations. Rather, He speaks of the believer who prays the word of God! “My word shall not return to Me void,” God states in Isaiah 55 v 11, “but it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” When His word is prayed, mountains move! Today, fill your prayers with His word, saturate them with His declarations, inundate them with His promises. Do not mumble and stutter, unsure of His will. His word is His will – bottom-line! These are prayers that are packed with power. These, dear friend, are John 15 prayers!
