In 1 Peter 1 v 7, we read that true, genuine faith is much more precious than gold. In this world, gold is the sought after commodity. He who has the money can make happen whatever his heart desires. He who has the money has the power. In the Kingdom of God, it is faith that holds this privilege. He who believes will see the impossible made possible. God moves on his behalf, responding to the commodity of faith. “All things are possible for him who believes,” Jesus adamantly stated in Mark 9 v 23. This is a dynamic statement. “All things” Jesus said. Not some things or most things, but ALL things. Faith carries a power that cannot be seen in the physical. However, in the spiritual realm, it is the fuel that keeps the believer moving forward. How rich are you in heaven’s currency, may I ask? How full is your faith bank account? If you feel that you are weak and dismal in this area, do not be discouraged. After Jesus made that red hot statement about all things being possible, the recipient of this instruction cried out with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” Dear friend, let this cry echo from your heart. Make a conscious effort to believe, each day every day. The Lord will strengthen and help you, until believing becomes as breathing.
